My theoretical approach
I believe that we all have within us a motivating force for positive change and growth. I see my role as helping my clients to help themselves as I support them on their journey. I love my work and I especially enjoy the reward of watching people develop and helping them instigate positive change in their lives.
.
The relationship that develops between us is an important part of the process. Together we will work in a way that will best help you find and use your own inner strengths. In so doing, you may then be more able to make the choices and changes necessary to live and create a more satisfying life with meaningful and fulfilling relationships with others.
.
I use a humanistic, relational, person-centred integrative approach, including Gestalt, TA and NLP. I work intuitively and pull from the best of these in a way I feel best suits each individual client and their needs. I believe that at our deepest level everyone has the desire and capacity to fulfil their own true potential.
Confidentiality
Everything discussed between us is kept strictly confidential. There may be an exception to this if I believed that someone was a risk of serious harm. This would be discussed at our first meeting.
